One of our company’s mottoes is “Make a Difference”. Our ambition is to make a difference in the society of Tanzania through our lodge. We want to help the country and its people to develop through our social engagement and projects. And of course we want to make a difference for our guests. It is becoming apparent that travelers are placing more and more importance on sustainable travel and fair tourism. The Corona crisis has changed a lot, especially in people’s minds. They want to experience more depth, be there for each other, make a difference and, of course, enjoy very special moments. Travel is allowed to touch the heart and that is what makes the difference.
With shining eyes our guests report how they visited a school, they tell about laughing children and rave about the traditional Tanzanian food very privately at a family’s home. They can lend a hand and build something in the school, renovate, teach or simply forget the time while playing with the children. You can give little things from the heart and who knows, maybe our guests will not only have beautiful animal photos from a safari in their luggage, but also a sponsorship for a child they met at the school.
There are many ways to make the guests’ hearts jump, according to their individual wishes and needs. We create a win-win situation for guests and the society while still allowing for wonderful safaris, relaxation and enjoyment for guests at our beautiful Eco Lodge.

Make a Difference For Your Guests
Foresight Eco Lodge is beautifully nestled in nature at an altitude of 1,650 meters. The Ngorongoro National Park is not far away and from the lodge you have a fantastic view of the Ngorongoro jungle and towards the south over the impressive vastness of the country around Karatu.
Family Tents
A very special accommodation are our two luxurious family tents. With approx. 60 m² they are generously cut and have comfortably place for 5 persons each. Through the large glass front and from the magnificent, spacious terrace your guests have a unique panoramic view of the Ngorongoro jungle.
The bathroom is modern and equipped in high quality. Natural stones line the shower and double sinks and the toilet is a unique combination of decorative wood, natural stones and tent walls. The beds (king size, queen and single) are beautifully grained solid wood and very comfortable. For fresh air fanatics, in addition to the large glass doors, the accommodation also offers tent windows with mosquito nets.
Bungalows
With great passion we have built the small, sweet eco houses. Sustainable, regional and as much as possible to manufacture by hand, was our claim, which we have implemented very well and consistently. The living room and bedroom are flooded with light, spacious and furnished with love. Mats woven from special grass on the floor create a cozy and warm atmosphere. The high roof made of palm leaves is impressive. And from the balcony your guests have a fantastic view. If they like, they can push the bed onto the balcony and see millions of stars in the clear night.
The bungalows are each about 30 m² and have their own bathroom with shower, double sink and toilet. Each house is unique and has its own character.
Glamping in Tiny House
Proudly and excitedly we present our new, cute Tiny House. The little house may be small, but it still has it all: toilet, hot shower and two comfortable single beds. On clear nights, you can wonderfully gaze at the fantastic starry sky from your bed through the “glass roof”. Another special feature is the balcony with a fantastic view over Karatu to the “Mbulu Mountains”!
The Tiny House has two hinged doors with plexiglass that can be opened upwards and serve as a roof for the balcony. The living area then flows smoothly into the balcony and the beds can be pushed onto the balcony if desired. Small shelves and cute details add to the comfort and cosiness.
Restaurant “Pamoja”
You will not find anything like our restaurant anywhere else. The charming combination of brick walls, wooden floor and tent walls is unique and creates a cozy ambience. From the terrace, guests have a magnificent view and in the evening they can enjoy the wonderful sunset. The beautifully decorated tables and the good-humored service staff make the stay completely perfect. We offer our guests full board, in the evening we serve a delicious 4-course menu. Drinking water in carafes is available to the guests free of charge.

Besides the popular and easily accessible national parks of Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Tarangiere, there are other nice activities for your guests at the lodge or nearby. For example:
